Sales Manager - Heavy Duty Machines
Do you have a degree in Mechanical Engineering and are an excellent sales Manager? Then this could be for you. A well established company dealing in heavy duty machines is looking for a Sales Manager to boost the sales of heavy duty generators for nitche customers throughour Tanzania.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Visits customers to present company products and answers all technical and commercial enquiries, compiles information on customers’ pending, current and future needs/deals and report on them.
Manage sales operational costs within the set budget
Identifying training needs of departmental staff and ensuring training is done in conjunction with HR department.
Meeting the yearly sales targets
Participates in quotation preparation, tender documents, if any, study and propose terms of payment as requested.
Investigates market situation of competitive products, prices and commercial terms and reports in writing.
Maintain adequate coverage on all Governmental Authorities – where sales leads could be obtained on awarded projects.
Qualifications:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
Minimum 7 experience in sales of engineering capital goods and at least 3 years in managerial positions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Independent thinker with the highest level of integrity
