Description
Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders , bills of lading or other records
Inspecting consignments to verify if they are in order and as per agreed terms
Monitor inventory control systems
Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers Records and checks quantity and quality of good received
Accepts and signs for deliveries from distributor
Contacts distributor to inquire about shipment delays or problems
