Principal Accountabilities for the Sales Engineer – Solar Water Heaters Job
- Take survey of installation, pricing and send quotations
- Supervise and guide a sales team
- Deliver technical presentations to customers
- To forecast sales accurately
- To close sales on a consistent basis
- To source for business and target high end clientele
- Solve issues of installed equipment
- To meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and grow sales month by month
- To identify and map sales areas and conduct sales demos
- To ensure complaints and after-sales service issues and repairs are managed in time and to the satisfaction of the customers
- To meet high ethical standards in line with the company culture
Sales Engineer – Solar Water Heaters Job Requirements
- Engineering degree from an accredited University or program at a 4 year college (Electrical, Energy, or Mechanical preferred)
- 2 years of experience in a solar design related position
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Microsoft office proficiency, especially Excel
- Proficient with AutoCAD 2D
- A go-getter, who can take initiative and work independently
- Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to connect with people and obtain their trust and respect
- Preferred candidates are those with experience selling solar water heaters
