Job summary
Our hotel is hiring a Back office personnel to provide support to the management of the organization in performing their key responsibilities. As the main support of the hotel he/she is responsible for smooth operations of Human resources, administration and accounting of our hotel located in Mafia
Responsibilities
Design, manage daily duties of individual staff members
Administer,maintain and support day to day activities
Analyzing various functions of the hotel
Coordinating activities between departments
Update and assist in production of internal and external reports Review hotel activities and ensure appropriate record keeping.
Build relationships with customers, respond to customer inquiries Receiving visitor,arrange room bookings and planning events
Assist front office in preparing, scheduling and organizing work schedules
Providing management and support solutions to the management and operations
Monitoring and maintaining quality of services provided
Assisting in preparing budgets and business planning, including projected revenue Recording, preparation of financial and account records
Assist inventory controlling staff in maintaining inventory records.
Preparing customer balances and reconciling accordingly Reconciliation of general ledger account balances
Monitor daily and weekly transactions
Assist in recruiting workers and handling employees of the company
Assist with employee relation issues in the hotel in a confidential manner, including disciplinarians, grievance and capability
Collaborate with Human resources department to develop policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management.
Qualification Relevant work experience is essential
More than 1 year experience
Education
Degree in business management, Hotel management
Skills
Flexible and ready to adapt well in any working environment
Ability to communicate well with others
Team work and collaborate with Front and Middle office
Excellent customer service and friendly
Foreign languages is an added advantage
Analytical skills and problem solving attitude
Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
Accountancy skills and report preparation
