BASIC FUNCTION
The financial Controller is accountable for the accounting operations of the group company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

THE SCOPE OF THE WORK
Through close supervision of the group accounting staff, the Financial Controller is generally responsible for overall Group Financial performance, risk management and profitability. The financial Controller is the advisor to the Directors on all financial matters including investment plans and risk analysis.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Guides financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Monitors and confirms financial condition by conducting audits; providing information to external auditors.
• Maximizes return, and limits risk, on cash by minimizing bank balances; making investments.
• Prepares budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
• Achieves budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Provides status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Complies with state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
• Ensures operation of equipment by establishing preventive maintenance requirements and service contracts; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
• Completes operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains financial staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains financial staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential during and after your employment with Royal Oven.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• The controller candidate should have a minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting and Finance. Master of Corporate Finance management or Business Administration will be an added advantage.
• Proven and successful 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation. Preference will be given to candidates with the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

Working Conditions:
Primarily in an office environment. Will be expected to travel as needed to company subsidiaries. Periodic weekend or evening work is expected
