Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Retails Marketing Manager for our company
I want someone who is a team leader and has retail sales experience in a bank / insurance or financial institution for about 10 years with management qualifications
Roles and Responsibilities
1.Interfaces with the Retail team and manages day to day sales activities.
2.Supervise sales staff, manage and motivate the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
3.Set yearly objectives, monitor performance
4. Make staff recommendations as required
5.Coaching and training staff including customer staff on best practices of Handling and usage of LPG product and
equipment.
6.Schedule work assignments
7. Translating marketing plans into action plans and fully owns implementation of the plans including timelines, budget and overall integration and efficiency
8.Continuously monitors implementation of plans, intervenes when plan timelines are not being met, updates Managing
9.Director on Budget performance, and resolves under-performance when necessary
10.Distributes budget for all marketing activity, planned or unplanned, ensuring activities are in line with marketing targets, budget plans and accountabilities are understood and executable.
11.Translates fuels pricing strategy into a consistent and specific local level pricing strategy, ensuring achievement of margin and volume targets specified in the marketing plan.
12.Monitors compliance with pricing strategy across all classes of trade within area of responsibility..
13.Be responsible and proactive in HSEQ issues that affect retails sites, individual, the office/field environment and their customers.
14.Sensitize retail stations on HSEQ related issues especially with regard to storage and handling of petroleum products with regards to prevailing company procedures
15.Be accountable for own development plan to continuously improve competencies
16.Develop network expansion strategy
17.Identify plot and develop new service stations
Educational Qualifications

1.Degree in Sales, Insurance and/or Business Administration.
2.Sales experience in a bank
3.Retail network management
4.Computer literate – Windows and MS Applications
5.Manage activities with a high level of organisation
6.Experience in Oil Industry will be an added advantage.
7.10 years minimum previous sales experience and/or have OMC experience.
