Job Description
Bahari Pharmacy Ltd is dealing with the importation, wholesaling and distribution of pharmaceutical and para-pharmaceutical products in Tanzania, and East Africa at large.
We are currently looking for a professional and experienced IT Technician who will be responsible for maintaining computers & various software. He/She will be the main point of contact for employees in computer related issues.

The job summary & Experience
I. Assist in installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
II. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone.
III. Conduct daily network backup operations.
IV. Ensure security and privacy of data and computer systems.
V. Setting up new user’s accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues.
VI. Service and maintenance of the system and computers
VII. Stock analysis
• Analyse stock movement
• Analyse cost of sale
• Price of the stock
• Expiry date& LIFO / FIFO
• Stock taking / item article codes i.e there is no repetition, defined properly
• Produce respective report
Skills competency and experience
2+ years’ experience in hardware and software maintenance
Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required.
Advanced Knowledge of excel is a major advantage.
Experience in a supermarket/store in IT department is a major advantage
