Main Responsibilities

· Provide advisory services to The Vocational and Educational Training Authority (VETA) on curriculum development of short courses and sustainability of short courses

· Adapt existing short course curricula to the needs of the private sector

· Assist the process of skills gap identification amongst industry partners

Job Requirements:

· Minimum of a Master’s in social sciences, economics, education, pedagogy or other relevant field

 A minimum of 10 years’ professional experience in the field of TVET and curriculum development, as well as experience with the CBET approach and DACUM

· Work experience in the private sector

· Strong knowledge of Tanzanian educational and cultural context

· Excellent spoken and written English obligatory

· Working experience in Africa obligatory, preferably East Africa
