SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
Automotive, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
An exciting role for a System Administrator that will be responsible in coordinating and conducting routine application and operating system patches as released by the vendor and IT Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responds to infrastructure service requests escalated from the IT Service Desk as second tier support.
• Creates, tests, and deploys standardized server computer operating system images in accordance with corporate architecture standards
• Assists in the maintenance of the server and network hardware located in the local and remote office data closets.
• Responsible for conducting and verifying corporate data backup .
• Oversight of the corporate automated network monitoring solution in coordination with the owners of the monitored systems and applications.
• Reports and coordinates activities with senior Infrastructure Engineers.
• Responsible for maintaining physical inventory and asset control of Infrastructure devices and equipment including requisition, receipt, deployment, and disposal.
