Description
The leading DMC in Zanzibar is looking for an EXPAT as international Head of Reservation to lead the department with 6 team members. He/ She is reporting to the General Manager and must be able to lead, expand, improve and consult to VIP agents or direct clients.
The candidate should have following skills or experience as a MUST:
- more than 3 years Peoples Management
- excellent English as native or fluent
- Travel Agent or similar
- Africa experience as place to live or destination to sell
- Able to cope with a fast growing company
- business driven to expand the department
- Team player within a foreign team of HODs
- Team Leader of his/her department
- able to perform under high stress level
- willing to learn product knowledge within our region
- hardworking
- honest and integer
- able to live on an island in an African country
- passion for detail
- consultancy experience
The ideal candidate worked as HOD in a travel agency or tour operator in South Africa or Europe in selling Africa as destination. He/She speaks and writes excellent English and preferrable another language, is looking for a challenge to work in a fast paced company, serving to mostly European clients and therefore led under European quality standards.
