SOLARKIOSK is the last mile distribution hub and renewable energy gateway to the untapped markets at the Base-of-the-Pyramid (BoP). We have developed an award winning technology and an inclusive business model offering access to sustainable energy to underserved markets. The headquarters is based in Berlin (Germany) with currently five subsidiaries in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The headquarters is based in Berlin (Germany) with currently five subsidiaries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
For our subsidiary in Tanzania we are looking for a graduate for the position of Clean Energy and General Sales Officer to further develop and manage our sales agents network. We are operating 43 retail kiosks in Tanzania located in off-grid villages in the Pwani region. Those kiosks sell Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCGs), solar products and solar energy services (such as mobile charging). Responsibilities
• Responsible for the strategic approach and development of the sales agent network for clean energy products
• Training and continued coaching of sales agents
• Responsible for monthly sales targets for sales agents
• Identification of clean energy market needs (via the sales agent network) and further development of the respective product range
Experience and skills
• University degree in Business Administration (Sales / Marketing) or any other related field.
• Past sales experience (intern, part-time jobs)
• Must thrive in rural environments and enjoy being on the road.
• Good communications skills and good capacity to multitask.
• Excellent time management; highly organized and ability to plan in advance; be 100% reliable
• Must be able to communicate effectively, in English and Swahili
• Proficient with standard office software (incl. MS Word and MS Excel or equivalent)
