Commitment: 12 months -

Essential Qualifications:
• Bachelors or Masters Degree-holder
• 2+ years experience working for a private or non-profit sector organization
• 2+ years experience with managing small teams
• 2+ years experience with M&E
• Strong M&E experience in research methods, conducting surveys, managing teams of enumerators
• Ability to work to a high standard independently with limited supervision
• Demonstrated ability to work through a team to drive results against organizational goals
• Strong English speaking and writing abilities.
• Good computer skills in email, internet usage, Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access; using a tablet
• Demonstration of commitment to exhibiting One Acre Fund values of honesty, humble service, hard work, continual growth
• Must be willing to spend most of time field based in Magu district, or Misungwi District.

Responsibilities
Launch Solar Expenditure Survey
• Manage a tablet/paper based solar expenditure survey to a control and treatment group to measure the impact of the Solar program
o Explain program to village officials
o Conduct M&E Agent interviews
o Train and develop M&E Agents to enumerate within villages

M&E Team Management
• Direct Management of M&E enumerators, providing regular and timely feedback that is tracked on survey output and quality
o Spend 3+ days each week in the field supporting various levels of field staff execute organizational goals
o Critically evaluate performance of individual M&E Agents; identify areas of growth and provide constant feedback to build new skills.
o Help design and execute training for M&E Agents
o Directly manage and mentor M&E Agents in their roles
o Prepare bi-annual performance reviews for M&E Agents
o Hold self and team accountable for setting and achieving clear numerically focused goals and targets.

• Support Impact department in execution of product trials
o For example, a distribution of inputs to treatment group farmers; this may include managing a team of casuals, supporting in direct execution
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by your manager and/or Management
