Description
Elite Digital Printing is a trusted name in the printing industry with over 10 year of experience. We are looking for an experienced Digital Press Operator who has worked in a printing press environment before.
We have immediate positions available for a Digital Press Operator. Responsibilities include Press and finishing operation, preparing (file rip) files for print, manipulating color calibrations, reviewing proofs, final product samples, and conducting maintenance on the equipment.
Responsibilities:
• Operate the digital press in accordance with equipment operating procedures.
• Operate digital presses to produce complete customized jobs.
• Prioritize jobs to insure all jobs are printed in a timely manner per due dates provided
• Perform all digital press operator functions as noted on the work order.
• Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.
• Operate bindery equipment as needed to complete the work order.
• Assist with job packaging as needed.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting equipment and customer files for production.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:
• High school or University Graduate.
• Good overall understanding of the digital printing process and best practices
• Familiarity with handling digital files; able to create postscript files.
• Digital web press and prosper experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good understanding of digital printing procedures.
