PUBLIC NOTICE INVITATION FOR APPLICATIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE INTERNSHIP TRAINING PROGRAMME
The Prime Minister's Office - Labour, Youth, Employment and Persons with Disability, in collaboration with its stakeholders is implementing a Five-Year Skills Development Programme (2015/16 - 2020/21) which is geared to enhance employability skills of the Labour Force. Internship training is among the key components of the Programme that aims to enable graduates to link acquired skills in colleges/schools with the requirements of the industry and hence increase their chance to be absorbed in the labour market.
Employers from various economic sectors have shown interest to collaborate with the government in implementing the Internship Training Programme for the year 2017/18 by offering internship opportunities in their organizations.
We, therefore, invite interested graduates to apply for internship training that will last between six months and one year in the positions detailed in the attached table. Applicants should be fresh graduates who completed studies within two years. Our office will meet some basic costs to enable interns to participate effectively in the programme.
